Terms of Use
These terms cover the MydenFocus app and this website, provided by the MydenFocus team. You accept them in the app before you use MydenFocus. If you do not accept, do not use the app. How we handle data is in the privacy policy.
The product
MydenFocus is a focus and wellness toolkit: timers, reset sits, optional Guard, mood check-ins, and coaching copy from Myden. It is software, not a doctor, therapist, or crisis service. Nothing in the app is medical advice. If you are in distress, use local emergency help, not this timer.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MydenFocus on devices you own or control, through the official Google Play or App Store listing. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the app, Myden, the wordmark, or our gem art except as the stores or open-source licenses already allow.
Your account
You are responsible for the Google, Apple, or email sign-in you attach and for what you type into journals and notes. Do not use the service to harm others, probe our systems, or store anything illegal. We may suspend an account that is abused or that puts the service at risk.
Golden plan
Some features sit behind the Golden plan: unlimited focus sessions, unlimited reset meditations, and insights and daily plans.
You may start a 3-day free trial of Golden plan through Google Play or the App Store when those stores offer one. No payment is due when the trial starts. Starting the trial enrolls you in the plan you selected. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the store charges the plan price to your Google account or Apple ID and the subscription auto-renews. After the trial you need an active Golden plan to keep those features.
Paid Golden plan is an auto-renewable subscription sold by Google Play or the App Store, as a weekly, monthly, or annual plan. Prices are set in those stores. We do not hard-code them here. Payment is charged to your Google account or Apple ID. The subscription renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Google Play or Apple subscription settings. Refunds follow Apple or Google rules, not a side channel in the app. The app cannot charge you itself.
Guard
Guard can limit or block apps you choose. It needs platform permission. It cannot promise a perfectly sealed phone. OS updates, work profiles, and apps that bypass the APIs can still interrupt you. You can turn Guard off.
Availability
We try to keep sync, sign-in, and this site up. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or retire features. Email us if you want a copy of synced account data.
Intellectual property
MydenFocus, the clock logo, the wordmark, Myden, and the watercolor milestone gems are part of the product identity. You may not use them to imply we endorse someone else.
As is
The app, this site, Myden copy, timers, Guard, and related content are provided as available. Where a limit is allowed, we do not promise the app will be error-free, always on, or that you will focus, ship, or feel better.
Limitation of liability
Where the law allows a limit, we are not liable for lost work, missed exams, lost profits, or indirect damages from using or being unable to use MydenFocus. The app is a companion for focus. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot legally be capped, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or a duty the law says cannot be limited.
Some places do not allow certain limits. In those places, our liability is limited to what that law requires, and if a cap is allowed, to the amount you paid for the Golden plan in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you did not pay).
Indemnification
If you misuse the app or site, scrape it, break these terms, or break the law with it, you will cover the reasonable costs we take on because of that, including legal fees, to the extent the law allows.
Termination
You can stop using MydenFocus at any time. We can suspend or end access if you break these terms, abuse the service, or if we shut the product down. Ending access does not cancel store charges on its own. Refunds still follow Apple or Google.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If a change matters to how you pay, what we do with your data, or what you are allowed to do, we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept it before it applies.
